What’s in a name?
pitchhawk takes its name from the Australian eagle hawk, more commonly known as the wedge-tailed eagle.
It’s Australia’s largest bird of prey and its natural habitat covers the entirety of this great southern land.
Uniquely, its wingspan exceeds the height of most people, its wedge-shaped tail provides unmatched lift, and its eagle eyes see in infrared and ultraviolet.
These superpowers provide it with the rare ability to glide freely at 6,000 feet for extended periods of time, surveying and identifying the tiniest gaps and opportunities below with razor-sharp precision.
Magical. Surgical. Independent. Unrelenting when it needs to be.
What better qualities could you ask for in a trusty investment Co-pilot?
And if you’re lucky enough to take an in-person Pre-flight at one of our Melbourne locations, you’ll be greeted by an 80-foot-high eagle hawk, named Bunjil.
According to the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, the Traditional Custodians of the land where Bunjil now stands, Bunjil is honoured as the Creator and headman of the Kulin people.
